Valassis acts as the trusted broker between the coupon issuer and the retailers and takes responsibility for a highly complex process. We provide timely and accurate redemption status reporting and detailed financial reconciliation down to individual branch level.
Retailers are paid promptly once Valassis receives the coupons. This is usually well within 21 days against an industry average of 28. This means they’re happy to accept your coupons, and view you and your brands in a positive light. They never have to chase payment.
To make sure your non-cash tender is safe and secure, over £100,000 a year is spent maintaining our security systems and quality standards. Our staff are background checked and thoroughly trained. Vehicles are security checked, and collection bags sealed and tamperproof. There are frequent spot-checks at every stage of the process, from coupon receipt at the warehouse to final destruction when coupons are no longer needed.
In fact, there’s a running joke in the warehouse not to put your sandwich down or it will be taken for quality spot-checking.
