Charles D’Oyly Managing Director
Before joining Valassis as Managing Director Charles held various Director-level responsibilities at AirMiles, the UK’s longest running loyalty programme, with most of his time devoted to managing its key partnerships with the likes of Tesco, The Royal Bank of Scotland and Shell.
Prior to this Charles spent seven years working in the US. He spent three years with OgilvyOne in New York, WPP’s largest direct communications agency, where he was Client Services Director responsible for delivering marketing communications strategies and solutions for a dozen clients that included Kodak, Sears Roebuck, and a US Government Agency.
Prior to this Charles worked for a New York based Private Equity firm, Wand Partners, which had significant investments in marketing services businesses. Charles began his career as a graduate trainee with Unilever where he was a Brand Manager and was part of the Unilever’s category management pilot.
Qualifications: MA in Economics from Edinburgh University

Tony Oliver Finance Director
Tony joined Valassis as Finance Director after spending 5 years as FD at Adecco, the UK market leader in recruitment, responsible for UK, India, South Africa and Nigeria for finance, property, legal, IT, and procurement functions. He was successful in driving improved profitability, developing the business strategy, and delivering a highly respected and customer focused back office.
Before joining Adecco, Tony also spent 10 years at Whitbread and 5 years at Deloittes where his career began.
Tony brings with him experience in integration of international acquisitions with significant performance improvement.
Qualifications: BA(hons) Accounting & Finance, ACA, Lancaster University

Jayne Busby HR Director
Jayne has worked at Valassis for a total of 11 years and has a strong track record of success at a senior level within the HR function.
Jayne is responsible for providing strategic and operational HR support and guidance across all areas of the business and strives to develop and promote good practice within the field of management and development of people.
Jayne has worked within HR for 17 years and has worked in both the private and public sectors. Much of her HR experience comes from working within the NHS (a highly unionised environment) and includes change and project management, together with recruitment, organisational development, and re-organisation.
Qualifications: MCIPD (Member of Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development), ICS Diploma in Personnel Management , Certificate in Personnel Practice.

Neil Bonsor Technology Solutions and Operations Director
Neil has worked for Valassis for a total of 10 years and has almost 30 years of IT experience of which 23 of those years have been spent working in senior IT management positions. He has experience working in Manufacturing, Retail, Distribution, Telecommunications, Financial Services and in the Service sectors. For the last 20 years, Neil has been involved in developing customer loyalty and Customer Relationship Management and Marketing Relationship solutions for clients.
Since the mid eighties Neil has provided Project Management, Business and Technical consultancy skills and has been responsible for developing CRM, Relationship marketing and Loyalty solutions for clients that include Shell, Esso, Mobil, Fina, Victoria Wine, Rothmans, Do It All, Sainsbury’s Homebase, Toys R Us. Tesco Stores, Texaco, Kingfisher, Proctor and Gamble, Unilever, Vodafone, KLM, SAS (airlines), IBM, RBS and Lloyds TSB.
Neil is a member of the Institute of Direct Marketing and a member of the Institute for the Management of Information Systems.

David G. Smith Commercial Director
Before joining Valassis, David was Managing Director of UK insight company, Salesout. Prior to this he spent over eight years in the IT industry managing sales teams covering software, services and consulting. This included four years at board level.
Before moving into the technology industry, David spent over 13 years within the FMCG market, working for blue chip companies such a Cadbury Schweppes, Coca Cola, Bass and Guinness. His career has primarily been sales focused managing accounts such as Tesco, Sainsbury's and Safeway.

Theresa Barker Head of Client Services
Theresa has been with Valassis for more than twenty years and is responsible for the client services team managing the paper processing division.
Theresa’s team is responsible for managing the services offered to clients, including data capture, fulfilment and coupon processing and she works closely with clients to ensure that services meet clients’ requirements.
